We are finalists for the prestigious New European Bauhaus award!

 

Dear members, friends and supporters,

We are delighted to announce that we are finalists for the prestigious New European Bauhaus award, which celebrates innovative projects and ideas that embody the values ​​of sustainability, inclusiveness and beauty with clear and positive results within the European Union.

Out of 700 applications, Laguna nel Bicchiere, with its work, has positioned itself among the 13 finalists of its section (STRAND A – NEB Champions – Rebuilding a sense of belonging).
We are the only application from our beloved Venice and lagoon: our associative work has been recognized for the strong commitment in (re)creating a sense of belonging of the city community through the care of the forgotten green areas of the city.

Popular votes are currently underway to support the finalist projects to rank and win a cash prize that would help us restore the vineyards, olive groves and vegetable gardens that we have been caring for for years for and with the city community: these green areas are the historical memory of our city and, being monuments dating back centuries, they now require major restoration work.

Here are some practical instructions on how to vote:

 

  1. On the link https://prizes.new-european-bauhaus.europa.eu/
    you need to click “I want to participate” in yellow.
  2. A pop up will open that asks for your email address and to solve a simple numerical request to verify that the operation is being performed by a human being.
  3. Once you have entered your email and answered the numerical question, you will receive a link in your inbox that allows you to access the voting page.

On the voting page there are all the finalist projects. The projects are divided into two blocks and require two votes:

  • The first block, “STRAND A – NEB Champions” is that of Laguna nel Bicchiere, while the other block is STRAND B – NEB Rising Stars.
    To vote you need to select Laguna nel Bicchiere in the first block (a blue stripe appears on the side once selected) and for the second block another project of your choice.
  • You therefore need to express at least two preferences. Once expressed, you need to click the blue writing “submit your vote”.

 

Note:
you can vote for multiple projects, be careful not to vote for other projects in the “Regaining a sense of belonging” category in which Laguna nel Bicchiere is participating to help us win!
